Heavenly Invasion

Updated: Feb 3, 2021

Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

I believe in 2019 the Lord took myself along with many others into a place of rest. We were called to be His Holy Remnant resting in His presence so He could perform surgery on our hearts, minds, and spirits. It felt like an extension of the hiding that the Father had already put us in years prior, but this was different. The first hiding was to protect us from harm and to begin to heal the wounds we incurred from the world. The second hiding began in 2020. It was a hiding to prepare us for front line work. It was within this time that the Lord began to increase the pressure until it began to feel unbearable. He pressed and squeezed, and tested His Holy Remnant until it felt like there was very little left for them to purge. It was a test of our authenticity and devoutness to Him. I recall for myself it often felt like my stomach was empty and there was nothing else for me to expel, yet more came up. I scared my poor parents to death with my insistence that I was following the Lords call. They loved me as best as they could in this season, but as good parents they only wanted the best the world had to offer for their child. The irony of this all was that it was in my abiding that God was working behind the scenes preparing my place among the Holy Remnant. God had something better than anything man could every offer.

It was in the secret place I intimately learned the ways of my Father. I learned from our Father what it means to be a true follower of Christ and to walk in the joy of the Lord. I also learned about what it meant to fear God. The fear I had of God increased as I came to understand that it was in hating the things of the world that caused death, destruction, pain, and suffering to His people that I would truly understand what it meant to fear Him. He took me deeper and I began to see that death was not only our last breath, but that death meant something much more to Him. He hated more than our last earthly breath the death of our souls. It was not only destruction of buildings or the beautiful creation He made that grieved Him. He hated the destruction of the family unit, the destruction of faith filled believers leaving their faith and choosing to live similarly to nonbelievers, and the destruction of the innocence of our children. What He hated most was the destruction this caused and the perishing of our souls piece by piece. It was not just disease of the body that causes suffering that grieves the Father, nor the suffering of babies being killed in the womb, or the mothers who were left alone to navigate their pregnancies alone that grieves the Father. It was not just the suffering our brothers and sisters faced because of the color of their skin or their gender, or their age, nor only the suffering of refugees looking for a place to call home that grieves the Father. It was not only the suffering of the abused, lonely, broken-hearted, mentally ill, and forgotten that grieves Him. While He hates the pain and suffering that we will face so long as we live on this earth what He showed me was the suffering that grieved Him most was the choice so many today choose to spend eternity a part from Him. It grieves Him to know that so many souls are willing to bow to man and the ways of the world that they would rather suffer for eternity in Hell than to be with Him. We would rather deny our faith in our apathy, fixation on self-center ventures, obsession with power, money, sexual pleasure, and money than on living in alignment with His commandments with a desire to live virtuously, and ultimately winning souls for Christ. We are willing to live comfortable for potentially 90 years on earth than for eternity with Him.

We live in a time of opportunity and I believe it is an opportunity as Christians to finally take a stand for our Faith. We need to flood our communities and be the light that has been placed in each and every one of us! There is truly an agenda that has been slowly unfolding to starve Christians then other spirit filled persons out of their homes and into the streets of poverty. There is truly an agenda to take away our ability to share our faith and it is starting with censorship on social media platforms. They shoved us in our homes and separated us from worshipping together in church and told us to watch from our computer and tv screens. Yet, as we see censorship rise, who is to say they won’t continue to censor these messages and shut down our ability to hear these same messages from our homes. There is an agenda to cause chaos and confusion in our minds that will ultimately lend as a helping hand to separate and divide us from our loved ones, friends, and neighbors. To control our minds is to control our pocket books which is to control our relationships with others, and ultimately our relationship with Christ will perish from lack of understanding, connection, and intimacy with the Father.

Christ is light and He shines so bright that darkness must flee. He is clear and concise. He is the true Holy of Holies and Prince of Peace. He stood face to face with the devil and denied his temptations to have the things of the world. The question for us is are we willing to deny these temptations and to pick up our cross and walk with Him. Now is a pivotal time for Christians to arise and to walk in their faith boldly. It is not a time for apathy and the path of least resistance. It is time for boldness and a confident yes to God and His Commandments. It is a time for a bold and confident people to stand up and be active aware participants of society. It is a time for intercession and prayer, a time to stand in the gap, to be vocal, to be models of Christ in how we treat others no matter how they treat us in return! It is a time to love when we don’t feel like loving, and forgiving when we don’t want to forgive. It is time to shine so bright that it is undeniable that we carry His glory! It is time. It is time. It is time! Otherwise, we are going to set the stage for the complete silencing of the faithful and a far more insidious persecution as we see in the atrocities of genocide around the world erupt. It may not seem like a big deal today, but just as the water is slowly boiled to kill the frog, make no mistake- “the water” is in “the pot” and it is boiling and we will be the boiled. I plead with each and every one of you to say yes to Christ, repent for your old ways of living, and to submit your soul to Him. Then go be the light of Christ with every ounce of your being. Be the home that allows Heaven to invade every space you walk in, as you carry His authority. Let your life be a beautiful prayer and testimony to His goodness, His kindness, and His mercy.
